In addition to providing intensive and creative committee simulations, NUMUN offers a schedule of exciting entertainment and activities when committees are not in session.

On Friday, delegates have the opportunity to explore campus individually or on a guided tour provided by official Northwestern tour guides. We also offer scheduled morning activities, which in the past have included a documentary screening and discussion led by a Northwestern professor.

NUMUN at Night on Saturday evening is a great time for the delegates to relax and have fun. The night kicks off at the Norris University Center with entertainment provided by one of Northwestern's talented student groups. Afterwards, delegates can dance the night away at the Delegate Dance, complete with a professional DJ and refreshments.

During meal times, food is available for sale at the Norris food court. For those interested in venturing into downtown Evanston, the dining capital of Chicago's North Shore, finding a place to eat is never difficult.

While Opening Ceremonies showcase our keynote speaker and a performance by a Northwestern student group, Closing Ceremonies highlight the achievements of the delegates. NUMUN gives Awards for Best, Outstanding, and Honorable Mention Delegate for each committee, and an Award for Best Delegation.
