There are various activities that delegates can engage in outside of committee sessions. Several pre-conference activities will be hosted Friday afternoon. There will be campus tours of Northwestern University and a parliamentary information session during which delegates, both old and new, can be introduced to NUMUN procedures and ask any parliamentary questions they may have. The opening ceremony will be held Friday evening, and it will showcase a Northwestern student group performance as well as a keynote speaker.
NUMUN at Night will be held after committee sessions on Saturday. This event will be a delegate dance, complete with a DJ and refreshments, and will be a great opportunity for delegates to socialize with one another.
On Sunday, the conference will end with a closing ceremony, during which the achievements of the delegates will be recognized through various awards.
