Secretary General - Adam Docksey

Adam Docksey is a senior Radio/TV/Film Major and Business Institutions minor at Northwestern. As a high schooler, he attended Model UN conferences at Duke, Georgetown, Berkeley, & Johns Hopkins (among others), and has been both a Committee Chair and three-year Secretariat member of NUMUN. He is the former Co-Chairman of Studio 22 Productions and the Producer of the award-winning sketch comedy show NSTV. Active in film and theatre, Adam will be directing his senior year film Danny in 16 Hours this fall, as well as originating a play entitled Butterfly in Constantinople this winter. Outside of school, he has interned for several production companies in Hollywood and also worked as a Merchant for Abercrombie & Fitch. In his free time, Adam runs, plays guitar, and sleeps.

Chief of Staff - Samuel Block

Sam Block is a Journalism and Creative Writing Fiction double major, with a minor in Psychology and an Integrated Marketing certificate. In addition to loving Model UN, he works on the Northwestern sports radio and television stations, writes for a satirical newspaper, and is the academic chair of a fraternity. Sam is a diehard Chicago sports fan, long distance runner, literature nerd, and movie connoisseur. He spends the rest of his free time attempting to be Woody Allen or Holden Caulfield.

Undersecretary General for Simulation - Chris De Notto

Chris De Notto is a senior majoring in History and Economics. In addition to being on NUMUN Secretariat, Chris plays sousaphone in the marching band and is the vice- president of Northwestern’s music fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha. Chris is considering going to law school after graduation and would like to attend Northwestern Law or University of Virginia. He has been known to spend hours just surfing Wikipedia and his entire afternoon is ruined if he misses Jeopardy. He also wishes that his life were either a sitcom or an ‘80s teen comedy.

Secretary Parliamentarian - Katherine Dearing

Katherine Dearing is a senior majoring in History and International Studies, concentrating in Modern European History. She will be writing a thesis comparing the influence of various Christian institutions on the differing revolutions in Eastern Europe in 1989. Outside of her academic work, Katherine is President of Sigma Alpha Iota, the women's music fraternity, an active participant in Dance Marathon, and a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and obsessing over her St. Louis Cardinals.

Undersecretary General for Finance - Jaya Shah

Jaya Sah is a junior majoring in Economics and Statistics. This will be her third year with NUMUN and her eighth year doing Model UN. Outside of Model UN, she runs the website for Northwestern's fashion magazine, STITCH, and works with Northwestern's Institute for Student Business Education, where she organizes data analytics for the Marketing department and tutors Chicago high-schoolers in financial literacy. This summer, she worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in New Delhi, India, and she currently is working at Goldman Sachs.

Undersecretary General for Delegate Services - Adam Mendel

Adam Mendel is the Undersecretary General for Delegate Services. He is a junior majoring in Political science, International Studies, and Latino Studies, and this is his third year of involvement with NUMUN. Aside from being part of NUMUN, his favorite thing to do on campus is box, and he is part of the Northwestern Boxing Club. Adam spent the summer of 2011 researching substance abuse among Latinos in his hometown of Worcester, MA, and then travelled to Buenos Aires during the fall. He can't wait for NUMUN IX!

Undersecretary General for Registration - Annemarie McDonald

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Annemarie McDonald is a senior studying Environmental Science and Spanish. She is currently focusing on Ecology, Conservation and International Environmental Policy. Annemarie has participated in Northwestern’s Model UN conference since NUMUN VI, and this is her second year as the USG for Registration. Prior to serving on Secretariat, she was the Co-Chair of the Colombian Cabinet and the Chair of the Human Rights Council. Here at Northwestern, she is also involved with Alpha Phi Omega, Mortar Board and the Sheil Center. She welcomes any emails regarding registration policies and procedures!

Undersecretary General for Public Relations - Jayshree Raghavan

Jayshree Raghavan is a junior from New Delhi, India with majors in English Literature and International Studies here at Northwestern, and has spent the last two summers as an intern in China. Besides being involved in NUMUN, Jayshree helps run The 195 and is part of the International Students Association and the Global Engagement Summit. She loves traveling, live music, and springtime in Chicago, when it isn’t raining. She is pumped to be on NUMUN Secretariat and, as always, can’t wait to meet the delegates!

Charge d'Affaire - Sydney Kim

Sydney Kim is a double major in International Studies and Cognitive Science. Her main motivation in life is to help those that are less fortunate then herself. Besides NUMUN, she is the Head of Public Relations for the Northwestern chapter of Supplies for Dreams, a nonprofit organization aspiring to reshape the Chicago School District. In the future, she sees herself as an international lawyer supporting human rights internationally. Currently, she lives by the quote from Kung Fu Panda “Yesterday is History. Tomorrow is a Mystery. Today is a Gift. That’s why it's called the Present.”

Master of Ceremonies - Gina Chang

Gina Chang is a junior from Los Angeles majoring in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Global Health Studies. She was first introduced to Model UN in the seventh grade and continued to be actively involved in her high school where she was the Secretary-General of Harvard-Westlake MUN and the Vice-President of the Model UN club. This is Gina's third year in NUMUN after being a vice-chair and a chair. She is also involved in the annual UNITY Fashion Show and the STITCH fashion magazine. In her (limited) spare time, Gina likes to Google image pictures of bunnies, online shop, and consume an unhealthy amount of caffeine.
