The Northwestern University Model United Nations conference originated in 2004 when a group of dedicated Northwestern undergrads sought to fill a void in the community’s extracurricular department. In the years since, the conference has almost doubled in size, but its dedication to delegate experience has never changed.
NUMUN is typically hosted every year at the Norris University Center on campus, directly adjacent to Lake Michigan. For NUMUN IX, we are excited to introduce the Hilton Orrington/Evanston as a partner hotel that will host approximately half of our committees. The Orrington is a fantastic luxury hotel with superb IACC-certified conference facilities offering spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Located only five minutes from campus, the addition of the Orrington as a venue for NUMUN represents an exciting step forward for our staff and delegates.
